When speaking of velvet, one cannot help but think of Pontoglio, established on the banks of the Oglio river in the Brescia province. Founded in 1883 by entrepreneur Giulio Sacconaghi, the factory profoundly shaped the development of the local area, becoming the driving force behind Lombardy's cotton industrialization.

In 1922, the company officially took the name S.A. Manifattura di Pontoglio. Since then, it has never stopped evolving, transforming into a fascinating balance of industrial archaeology and cutting-edge innovation. Today, the historic brick warehouses coexist with the modern hub inaugurated in 2006, the largest weaving mill in Italy entirely dedicated to this yarn.

For our new capsule collection, we chose to bring these two worlds together, uniting the iconic and contemporary silhouette of the baseball cap with the noblest textile excellence of Italian manufacturing. A tribute to Pontoglio velvet, reinterpreted with a sporty and sophisticated twist.
